In-Season Management: Why the Season Is for Continued Progress — Not Just Maintenance

The baseball season is already underway — and URATBB athletes are seeing great success to start the season.

The NJC pitching staff is on track for record performance, while our high school group both in Utah and nationally are putting up huge numbers and contributing greatly to their programs.

This early success isn’t happening by accident.

It’s happening because we don’t treat the season as “maintenance mode.”
We treat it as an opportunity for continued development — just at a smarter, more controlled pace.

This approach is powered by understanding a proper 7-day rotation.

Here’s exactly how we make continued progress during the season:

1. ArmCare Monitoring / Training
Daily or 3–5× per week testing acts as our daily decision engine. We adjust throwing volume and intensity based on real shoulder data so the arm gets stronger as the season goes on — not weaker. This is done through the ArmCare system custom training feature.

2. Biomechanics & Sequence Tweaks
We use quick video analysis to keep the kinematic chain clean. Small adjustments to load-after-landing prevent the common mid-season breakdowns and help athletes stay efficient even when fatigued. Send us the video, we give the feedback.

3. Pitch Design & Usage Refinement
The season is the ultimate lab. We review game data and make targeted grip and sequencing changes so pitchers keep improving command, movement, and effectiveness with each outing. The hitter will tell us what adjustments we need to make so we can rapidly make changes.

4. Mindset & Game Management
We focus on learning the game — reading swings, controlling tempo, and making in-game adjustments. This turns good pitchers into competitors who dominate when it matters most. Learn from failures, don't allow them to define you. Capitalize on success.

Why This Approach Wins

By continuing development (instead of just trying to survive), our athletes are staying healthy, throwing harder, and becoming more complete pitchers as the season progresses.

The early numbers from NJC and our high school group prove it works.

Ready to Make Your Season a Development Season?

We cap our roster at 25 athletes so every player gets personalized attention.

We are going to run a 8 week velocity development program this summer. If you are interested in that reach out and let us know.

Interested in getting our pitching systems manual? It is currently going for $50 and covers our full development system. Contact information is below for those interested in the velocity program, individual work, or the manual.
