Building Pitchers Nationwide: Why I Created the Pitch Design Manual
This week I’m in Phoenix, Arizona, working alongside RC13 Sports and their athletes on pitch development. Trips like this are a big part of what I do—over the years I’ve been fortunate to coach across multiple states, from Utah to Colorado to Arizona and beyond. Each stop is about the same mission: helping pitchers build arsenals that dominate.
But not every player can travel for in-person sessions or bring me out to their program. That’s exactly why I created the Pitch Design Manual.
Why the Manual Exists
When I work with pitchers on the road, the biggest breakthroughs often come from simple adjustments: refining a grip, improving spin efficiency, pairing pitches to create deception. These aren’t secrets reserved for pro labs—they’re teachable skills.
The manual takes those same frameworks and puts them in your hands:
How to understand pitch movement and spin data
Step-by-step grip adjustments that transform pitches
How to build a pitch mix that plays together
Development strategies for pitchers at any level
From the Road to Your Mound
Whether I’m coaching in Phoenix, Colorado, or Utah, the core process doesn’t change—and now it’s available for players and coaches everywhere.
If you can’t travel to train in-person, this manual is your access point to the same development system I use on the road with athletes.
